Happenings in F1 2010!!

Goodbye 2009....wassup 2010! Congrats to Jenson Button on his '09 championship crown. It's trumendous to see Brawn GP clinched the championship on their debut season. As for 2010, we'll see a lot of drivers transfer from one team to another. This would spice up F1 and make it more and more interesting!

So, let's start with Kimi Raikonnen....we won't be seeing him behind the wheels of Ferrari team, but we'll definitely be seeing him with Junior Citroen Rally Team! Fantastic....I would say...suits his 'heavy footed' driving character. My guest, iceman just won't melt by the speed. It has been confirmed that he have signed a year contract with the team. Best of luck Kimi! Just make sure don't drink and drive...hehe.

What's up with Felipe Massa? We'll be seeing him racing in Ferrari alongside former world champion, Fernando Alonso...with a neck pain!! He admitted his neck hurt after the second day of testing at Mugello track resulted from the accident occured last year. "I had a bit of pain in my neck, especially on the fast corners which make this one of the toughest tracks."

As for race teams, we'll be seeing the Malaysia Lotus team participation with confirmed Jarno Trulli and Heikki Kovalainein to be in the cockpit but that didn't pretty much attracted me the most. What attracts me the most is Sir Richard Branson with his new team, Virgin Racing, challenged the owner of Lotus F1, Tony Fernandes that the losing team will work as stewardess for the winning team! Haha...I'm all excited for that!! But, of course it's a friendly rivalry as Tony Fernandes once worked for Branson's music business. Hmmm....can't imagine either one of them in their uniform...hahahaha.

For Sauber Team, they have confirmed Kamui Kobayashi to drive for them. Good for him or he'll end up working for his dad's sushi restaurant as Toyota announced their retreat from F1. Good luck Kobayashi!

Now it's time for the hottest new's in F1, the Schuey's comeback!! A three year signup contract has confirmed the 7 times world champion will be driving for the Mercedes Petronas F1 GP (formerly known as Brawn GP). "We are talking about a three-year deal. It's not just a one-off thing. We are talking about continuation." He reportedly to be paid 7 million Euros (9.9 million US Dollars) to be with the team alongside Nico Rosberg. As for me, goodbye Ferrari, I'll go wherever Schuey is...hehe.

As for Jenson Button, he is set to drive for McLaren alongside former world champion, Lewis Hamilton.

Well, that's pretty much I can tell you about F1, as I'm gearing up to shift my support to Mercedes GP! Cheers!
